Jam butty versus crisp butty

After years of not having one, I crave a jam butty today. Miles better than the awful sugar butty, on a par with the crisp butty.

But which is best, the jam butty or crisp butty?

Anyone who would choose a jam butty or a crisp butty over cheese on toast is clearly certifiable.

Like a crisp butty now and again but never been a fan of jam butties myself. Jam on toast however I am a fan of. The toast has to be coolish before you apply the butter and jam though

Those thick Crinkle Cut crisps ( salt and vinegar ), white bread ( of course ) and a sliver of butter wins hands down every time.

Never had a jam butty so by default ill choose a crsip butty

And like 5+ times more expensive than crisps. Rather have some good quality kettle chips as they call them over here

Looked up kettle chips. Guess the difference is they're batch made so they're more old school, more dense and solid.
