I think the pass play wasn't a bad play to call. If the touchdown had been scored, it would've been considered genius not to give it to Lynch who would've been covered by half of the NE defence. It's easy to say with hindsight that Wilson should've just given it to Lynch.

You've also gotta give credit to the rookie, Butler, for coming up with a play like that to prevent the touchdown. Extraordinary ending to the game. I had a feeling the Kearse catch was gona be reminiscent of the Giants Superbowl game with the helmet catch.

Absolutely incredible game though, I expect it was for the neutrals too. So much talent on the field on both sides, it really was a case of the two best teams in the League fighting it out for number 1 spot.
They had a couple of bites at the cherry though, he only needed to beast a yard and a half.

Its like playing Tony Hibbert through in a Champions League Final because Messi will be marked. Aside from Messi playing for Everton of course, it just doesn't make sense.

Imagine the Mirallas peno situation except in stoppage time of the Europa league final and (not the RS, but some similarly dislikeable team like Chelsea) breaking after the miss to slot the winner.

Worst call in the history of the National Football League!

20 second remaining.
Half a yard to go
One time out remaining
3 downs remaining
Marshawn Lynch is your running back.

WTF - run the f****** football you fools! Lynch would have scored, no question.

Gutted, absolutely gutted.

I bet the Pats were even going to let him score

I think you'll find those fans will be back tomorrow. This city has always been blue.
Nothing against the Pacific NW at all, and both times I have been to Seattle, I've had a great time. But where I live, you would never have found a Seahawks fan anywhere 5 years ago. Now they are everywhere, just reminds me of certain other glory hunters...........

No one does figure skating/footballs corporate cross promotions syzeregy like Johnny Weir

Never change, Johnny.

I hope, when you're all crap at your jobs because you stayed up late because you're an nfl super fan with strong allegiances and your blood runs deep in american soil even though you were born in 1992 in Kirkby, you get sacked.

It's shocking that people from a different continent would be interested in teams not from their home soil SHOCKING I tell ya.

It's the moat americanised bullshit ever. We don't DO professional sportsmen acting like wrestlers or half time shows or cutting to te studio every 5 seconds. People who love american football may actually like the spectacle of the game I get that, even if it's absolute crap, but it's about 75% because it's the new 'cool' thing to do. Nfl hipsterism should be left in 2014.

Surely makes Brady the best ever QB?

6 Super Bowls 4 victories - first and last(?) 13 years apart.

Has to go past Montana to the top of the list.
