Thanks, I just wasn't aware of your background on this and my volting skills a crap.

You can see though from an earlier post that a run like this isn't exclusive to Martinez can't you, in fact it's not even close yet to being as bad as Moyes worst run.

We've had worse times than this recently and not panicked and come through it well, considering Martinez is just off the back of our best league season for about 25+ years don't you think he should be given the time to rectify the problems instead of pulling the plug because of a poor run? The positives outweigh the negatives on this for me, I see many worse teams in the league than us so I don't think relegation is a concern but if we back him and he turns it round to the level of last season or better we've got something special and may actually get back to winning trophies. Something that under Moyes we looked miles away from at times.
Not under a manager who has relegated an established premier league team and thankfully

Never been a fan, but was more than happy whilst he was making me look stupid, never stubborn enough to not take that on the chin, but for me this was always expected, I have been consistent, this is not fickle, from some it is and in those cases I'm on board with you and any other fan, I stuck to my guns last season and that's why I feel comfortable expressing my opinions now. I don't trust Martinez tactically or with what money he is given, he could never buy a defence, he was gifted one last season and did brilliantly with it, but now that has been aged/uncoached he has been found out as expect.

I'm not fickle just consistent.

Dont be coy. You opposed him 100% even when his name was mooted for the job. Same as Daz4matty and nsno-chris.

I dont get how you lads can even shape up as credible voices on the matter.

Martinez is allowed a bad run and a bad season.

As long as he can get us out of it. And I think he can.

He gets until november, if we're still playing badly and in the bottom half of the table then, that's when you get your axe out and starting a manager search.

But you have to give hima chance to turn it around first.

Oh because we had an opinion different to yours we can't have an opinion on whether he is still credible for the job.

Thanks clearing that up

How's the weather on cloud cuckoo land

Ha Ha.

I've got a new question, and I'm supposed to answer it by telling you what you think?

Good Lord.
you told me what I thought in your last point by telling me I was destroying my own argument.

I find you more annoying than anyone else because I agree with you on 90% of Everton issues, but this you have got bang wrong. If this was Martinez 1st season we would already be 8 games into a new manager tenure, if it was a Moyes season there is no way you would still be supporting him, you wanted Martinez and you feel as though you standing by your man on a football forum is in some way supporting him, the only way we as fans can let Martinez know what we think is inside Goodison. I believe that as long as we look like we will be safe he will be here to organise another crap (satire) pre-season.

I just want to know how long you will support this run of form???? I can only assume you are trying to wind me up by not answering, but in turn I will assume you won't answer as you are worried that the form will continue so in 12 months when we are stuck on a similar points tally you won't have to be forced to publicly state that you were wrong about Martinez, which is disappointing as you would then be putting yourself ahead of Everton, when in reality no-one gives one feck about me or you and our opinions on here. You are sticking to your convictions about Martinez like you stuck to slagging Liverpool off last season when even on the Morning of the Chelsea game you must have been twitching.

i agree with you.

The recovery has started but we have barely noticed thanks to one Kevin Mirallas.

If he acts the Christian the other night we most likely go on to win that game in a canter.

I fancy we will beat Palace and then do the RS.

And then we can all start dreaming about Warsaw in the spring again.

Crisis?

What crisis?

COYB.
5/1 charity bet, I have a good record. Maximum bet 10 quid, proof of pay up will be required.

Wigan where cost cutting year on year when he arrived, their best players were always being sold and his squad was in a constant transition stage for 4 years. But even though he was having the rug pulled out from under him he managed to somehow mastermind a FA Cup run that included beating us along the way and the countries most expensively assembled team in the final.

that's what I said just like you (in opposite terms said you wanted him) I never did, I'm sticking to my guns as are you, but yours could be at the cost of relegation

Don't say that we bought a 1/3 of his starting xi

Moyes = seven seasons with atrocious slumps.

Thems the apples you'd like to sidestep. :bye:

Dave it is history, next you will want to celebrate the winning of the Battle of Waterloo where we seen the Frogs off, that is June BTW.

Lets look to the present and the future or damn it you will be going back to Colin Harvey, Mike Walker, Smith, Gordon Lee, Oh how about going back to Billy Bingham, hows that for fruit?!

I wanted Martinez as manager, yes. But it doesn't stop me criticising his decisions. It's been a terrible season and so my views on Martinez have reflected that, But he's proven beyond doubt that he can get us playing very good, winning football and so I find it ludicrous for people to be calling for his head at this stage. It makses no sense whatsover to me. Iy's fulled wither by a pre-existing agenda for some, or extreme kneejerking based on martinez's Wigan record.

I'll have nothing to do with that. I base my opinion on honesty and realism.
