Like who though? Any names?

I'm not shouting you down here at all, I'm just curious as to who you think would do a better job?

Jurgen Klopp is the obvious one for me but he would never in a million years manage Everton.

Klopp is currently in the Bundesliga relegation zone.....I wonder if Borussia fans are having the same debate about him as we are about Bob.

Haha very, very true. Football is funny thing isn't it. Full of so many opinions but that's what makes it great.

Also, every manager has a bad spell, it's how they get out of it that counts..

Moyes had a dreadful first season - Martinez's has arrived a year later.

Martinez's is starting to build his team and yes, I'm not defending him right now cause we're awful BUT...

Moyes had 11 years, ELEVEN YEARS - what's the difference now?

EH? Moyes came 7th his first season

I've been a fan of Bobby's and liked what he's tried to do with the club, and he earned a long leash this year based on last year. However, this team hasn't learned how to scrape points when the chips are down and that's what you need to do in this league. I honestly don't know if that performance offensively yesterday was lack of confidence on the part of the players, or Bobby's tactics. They are just moving the ball so painfully slow and need to take more chances.

What's really concerning, as other posters have said, is RM's complete lack willingness to change suit the situation. That's the mark of a good manager.

I do, though, have a glimmer of hope that what the lads need more than anything is some game time off, and that's exactly what they are getting over the next couple weeks. Hopefully our Catalan overlord can add some tactical wrinkles, the lads can take a step back, and please FFS can we get J Mac back for Palace. We'll know the answer to this polling question depending on how they perform in that game. If come out flat and more of the same in that game, then I begrudgingly would have to say you have to give real thought to making a change.

Yeah, we displaced one of those sky 4 under Moyes, and he did it with a far inferior squad than what we currently have, and somehow he had that inferior squad playing better than we have been for months.

That was a fluke of a season, finishing fourth (with a minus-1 GD), thanks to a bunch of scrappy 1-0 wins and the fact the league was really a three-team race that season. He didn't follow it up. Martinez' team last season set a PL record for points by an Everton side, a total that would have secured top 4 in any other season. All teams go through bad patches, I'm convinced ours will end soon.

point taken. Meant in the season he was originally appointed but to be fair that might be a harsh view from my point - take that one back! Was more getting at the fact Moyes had 11 years in charge. Martinez has had 1...

Half a season - really bad for a month and a half - meant it more as a figure of speech though.
I know mate, but it attempts to paper over the cracks somewhat. We've been waiting patiently, in the main, for him to turn it around. He hasn't, and imo things are getting worse by the day.

You've got a very valid point. I think it all comes down to the next two games - Palace and the RS - two wins and he saves his job and our season - two losses and I think everyone will lose patience.

'Apologists' remember.

Moyes had a freak season, and Martinez got us our best points total - no hint of irony. This fiasco has been onrunning for months, 'plan B' 'too rigid' 'bad substitutions' 'not learning from his mistakes'. Who is being talked about?

We were a solid defensive unit, has Martinez overseen our greatest number of goals conceded in the PL? stats huh.

We won exactly the same amount of games by one goal that season as we did last season (13)
