Fair play with that, it's a somewhat measured piece

If you're a no sack voter just how long do you give him
1st March?
1st of April ( could be apt )??
1st of May?
1st Oct?
1st Nov?

he should go now and I will tell you why. I can understand the feelings of DaveK and the other yes's, where they are coming from, they live in hope it will be turned round and all will be rosy for next season if we get rid of deadwood, sign a couple of players to replace them and bingo just like last season. This where I differ from that, I cannot see any light at the end of the tunnel with Roberto in charge. It has been shown that his football philosophy is not suited to our players or the PL, this was also demonstrated in his tenure at Wigan. There has been a great deal of talk and from the man himself,

I will not change,
Don,t practise corners or deadballs,
Defence is not important in winning things,
Seems incapable of getting the best from the players, look at the selections players out of position etc.

As regards last season which many point to, was indeed great but there was a stiff playing mentality inherited from our Ex which RM capitalised on
ad this season seems to have been chucked aside for his style. I am unconvinced about the "project" that some refer to as his style.

So Yes I think he should go and get an interim manger in to the end of the season, it may not and likely will not happen, relegation I mean but lets get it straight we are in some danger of being right down and each position in the league lost means less money for the club.. I do not think the security of our club can be trusted in his hands anymore.

BK will not pay RM off so its nonsense forget it he has not become a bad manager from record prem points one season over night!

Under this rate, he may get us the lowest record points in PL. How many points we got from the season we finished 17th?39 I think?

It makes no difference if we stay up I predict a mid table finish - keep the faith _ we will get on a good run soon beating the reds at Goodison will be our springboard!

I,ve resisted posting anything about this so far as I wanted to give the team and Martinez time to sort things out. Obviously this hasn't happened and doesn't look like it's going to happen. Clubs do go into free fall and sometimes it can be for no apparent reason. Everton at the moment are like a rabbit caught in the headlights. It's almost like a perfect storm - high expectations going into the season, both on and off the pitch and almost from the word go its gone wrong. The ramifications of relegation for Everton are truly frightening - look at the position Leeds still find themselves in all those years after they were relegated. The club is now in a similar position to that under the reign of Mike Walker. If I remember rightly that team had 8 points after 13 games. We aren't there yet, but rapidly heading there. It's now up to Kenwright and the board to make what possibly could be the most important decisions about the clubs future in over a decade. Whatever needs to be done, needs to be done with urgency and also transparency. Plainly something is very wrong at the club.

Eh? We are doing the same things over and over again yes.

Same results? No. They are different results to last season when we got our record points haul and into Europe.

What? How many times did Barkley play on the left wing last season?

Our lack of attacking options is awful across every position

I said in the first transfer window, and during last season that our weak point was always final third. despite the decent stats, the good results and goals scored we were regularly completely wasting possession in the final third whether with a man advantage and space or without.

Given the crap season we are having people might think I´m crazy to say this, but my main issue with the boss is not getting in a playmaker of some sort. This way the ball sticks and the players gradually learn where to move and how to work with them. Whereas as until now we have various players filling and performing at wildly varying levels so there is no fluency. Its not worked out to rely on Ross and as back up...anybody from Pienaar, Osman and Naismith. And like I say, I include last season in that.

I think we will be fine. No relegation coming our way. But the above is the big thing I´d love to see us sort out, and would be excited if we do fill that vacancy.

If we get beat at Palace he'll be hanging by a thread. If he follows that with a bumming at home by the filth, then his position becomes untenable imo.

He's got to spend the next 12 days preparing them perfectly and turn up at Palace with a winning strategy, he can definitely call that one a pivotal game.

RM has a better squad than mike walker - when MaCarthy returns we will bne a better team for it and he has the chance to sign new players!
