West Brom played for 0-0 and we couldn't break down their parked Bus.
We were banging on the door all night but didn't have the luck/guile to break through.

I'm still a no, but struggling to remember a more under-performing Everton team, in fact I can't think of a worse case in 30 years at Goodison. Worse teams for sure, but a greater disparity between performance and the potential of the squad?
Depends if you include the Mike Walker catastrophe, but that was an average side playing terribly. Right now we've a v good side playing close to terribly, which feels worse.
So RM is stinking the place out, no question that he is unequivocally failing, it's on him, and he's lucky that he's getting the time to put things right.

Fair play with that, it's a somewhat measured piece

If you're a no sack voter just how long do you give him
1st March?
1st of April ( could be apt )??
1st of May?
1st Oct?
1st Nov?

Entertaining to see how fickle most fans are. People were feeling pretty positive after City and West Ham. We had started playing more direct like people wanted. Things are changing. Slowly yes, but it's never a quick turn-around when you're going through a bad spell.
Everyone can see how hard it is to break down a Pulis team. It wasn't like we weren't totally dominating the game.

At the end of the day, if Miralas had scored that pen then we probably wouldn't be having this conversation. We'd all have a positive attitude and be talking about how we're turning things around. That 'no' percentage would be closer to 75%; yet it wasn't Bobby who missed that pen was it.

There should be a new word added to the English dictionary that Evertonians were instrumental in creating which means regurgitating the same old excuses

So teams like West Ham, Stoke and any Pulis side are the best at set pieces why? both attacking and defending.

Take the free kick at edge of the box by the by-line last night, Baines played the low ball behind the pack which is the classic everyone goes the front post and the back post player spins round unmarked routine. The problem being nobody was on the same wavelength as like Osman says we dont practice these situations.

By the way Im actually not too disheartened about last night- they came, they parked the bus, a new manager with players trying to impress. They were not bothered one bit about not trying to actually really score- no shots on target and 31% possession says it all really.

All ifs and buts but if we did score that penalty they would have had to push a little bit and that would have opened them up for more opportunities. They will have a plan of where they want to win and where they are happy to do what they did last night- away at Everton on a Monday night was definitely mission get a point and they succeeded.

The most sensible post you'ver ever made. I agree with all apart from the first bit- yes a strong manager wouldnt lose the dressing room to a point but if you have a disgruntled older player say for example Distin who has been at the club for a few years and may carry a certain amount of clout within the players it must be very hard to curb that influence.

We need some new faces this Window- a new signing can be a breath of fresh air on and off the pitch.

Under Moyes for 11 years we always struggled when teams defended in numbers, It was no surprise we drew yesterday TBH

It was a similar game to Sunderland/Chelsea earlier in the season, Sunderland defended in numbers and Chelsea failed to break them down, They have Hazard,Oscar,Costa and Fabragas though, We have Naismith,Oviedo,McGeady and Barkley

Our lack of creative spark in the middle is a massive problem

Barkley needs to get going again and Martinez needs to play him or Naismith in behind Lukaku not both in my opinion.

We need Atsu off our books and someone that isnt away at the ACN to come in and do a job on the wing.

Our lack of attacking options is awful across every position

He is showing no signs of changing. He is doing the same things over and over again and expecting different results. That's the definition of insanity
Eh? We are doing the same things over and over again yes.

Same results? No. They are different results to last season when we got our record points haul and into Europe.

I don't get why we don't practice set pieces.
Are corners are a disgrace don't get why baines takes most of them, maybe kev should have stole the ball for the corners as well

The fact is the ball cannot be put in the back of the net. Even you have 70 per cent possession, it means nothing. Other teams are happy to see us pass sideways then passing back. 23 points from 22 games that got to be the worst since the inception of PL. In normal circumstances, we would have got 40 points by now.

We surprised teams last season though.
This season we have been sussed and still carry on regardless

we played better against Man city because we had to him them on the break thats what we are good at. Teams that come to goodison wanting a draw with 11 men behind the ball at all times are proving that we have nobody that can create anything apart from our LB And RB.

When you put a stop to that you put a stop to us creating chances.

We are playing 3 number 10s at the minuet and its not working.
