I would imagine results from teams beneath us are important to keep us away from the bottom of the league but it will be us that get us clear and in the right end,we play to our potential we'll wipe the floor with our opponents regardless of how Hull,QPR,Leicester,Burnley etc......those are pisspoor teams and getting a manager in does not make bad players better,so there it is,Pulis won't get points on Monday it will be us that drop points if we don't play our best

I'm merely suggesting on the strength of this that we'll see an Everton performance tomorrow that reverts back to the patient build up against a team that can be played through. We should be expecting the type of set up we saw prior to the first WHU cup game. He'll do that because it's the way of playing that will get us results more often than not when it's played correctly.

I think the ball will go up to Lukaku just as quick as it has for the last few games,only an idiot would continue with slow slow slow rubbish that has not worked for 5 months,if he does revert back to this he is playing into the Martinez out brigade......and he'll deserve it

We were getting the ball forward much quicker looking to play Lukaku in behind as opposed to passing it to death at a snails pace

Disagree. We just played well imo.

We played out from the back normally against City and at West Ham. Rom was much hungrier and helped bridge the gap between the midfield and the final third for us.

More interested in protecting his ego than being honest I'm afraid. The last 3 games did signal a change in how we play and it was effective. If you're suggesting that he'll revert back to type tomorrow and to a way of playing that's been completely ineffective for months, then I hope you're wrong.

I couldn't give a toss about his 'philosophy' at the minute, I want to see some points on the board to get us away from the relegation scrap.

If I see him revert to the type of rubbish possession football played mostly in our half which had brought us to the brink of despair all through December and into the first day of January then I will be joining the Roberto out voters in tomorrow night's after match state of the nation poll.

That despair has largely been dispelled over the last three games games when the tiki taki was binned, even if we failed to pick up a win.

We need to build momentum now, not revert to a flawed policy.

I've no idea what you were watching if you couldn't see a deliberate and considerable shift in tactics in the last 3 games mate. The shift in tactics resulted in us playing well

I think you'll find the 'slow slow rubbish' has produced more points this season than when we dont retain the ball.

Martinez isn't going to change his style; we hired him for his ideas and he produced first season with them. We're not going back to hoofball again.

Of course the slow slow approach has gained more points,we've only used the faster approach in one league game

Massive difference, the ball was kept when required but no over played like we've been seeing most of the season, the ball was played from back to front a lot quicker and with more purpose

Moyes would be a massive step backwards

We do need better technical players for how the manager wants to play but I think the question should be would you trust Martinez to bring in better players than what we have,I'm not so sure

Two CBs, a playmaker and a winger....but the CBs are critical. Jagielka and Distin have flushed this season down the toilet.
