Alternative to previous post.

Would we welcome signing a spanish playmaker who can take a free kick and has immaculate hair? Experienced and has played in several countries and would be free?

Yep. If Spurs are in for him though I doubt he'd come to us.

For the same fee you'd easy get van Dijk and for less wages than Reid would command.

Also: Agger. If he'd come it'd be decent short term business for us. He's missing the PL and Merseyside is where he says he's still attached to.

I dont think Agger would come, he only went back to brondby because he wouldnt face Liverpool.
Van Dijk may have to wait until the summer if there is any substance to the rumours.
To be fair i think alot of foreign players see London as the place to be.

In regards to agger @davek

Would you really want a player with YNWA tattooed onto his knuckles pulling on the blue shirt?
If he did a job for Everton in the short term I wouldn't care one bit.
He's very decent playing out from the back and it'd be a kick in the balls for Rodgers seeing him doing well for us.

He could sit the Derby out.

As said, he apparently misses Merseyside badly. Offer him the chance to extend his time here.

Im pretty sure if Agger was good enough they would not have let him go for free.

Unless i missed something in the summer over the transfer? i mean they have toure over him in the squad.

Also, would a man who loved his old club that much to get that tattooed on him want to play for their rivals?

He was linked with a move to Italy and it fell through because he wanted to get back home. Apparently he misses this place now.*

As for the tattoo business: file with kissing the badge etc - utter nonsense. Most players are as thick as two short planks and get tattoos to kill time and use up vacant space on their arms.

*a come and get me plea to a north west club?

He was let go for free because his chronic injuries problems were directly down to the level required to play in the Premier League.

Its less intense in the Danish league so he was allowed to go back to Brondby, and Brondby only, for free as they couldn't afford a transfer.

Is it a definite he cant come back to the PL? Part of the deal for Liverpool?
