I reckon you'll see some moves from Arsenal and Man Utd going for defenders. Arsenal have started the season with one right back and it hasn't worked out. I can see Smalling being jibbed off from Utd, their fans and manager seem pretty disapointed with the progress he's made.
Only Chelsea, Man City and Southampton have conceded lesser goals than us. So yes, Van Gaal has made us more difficult to beat (10 games unbeaten run now actually).
Think further to the point is that Gaal has achieved the same with x amount of players signed including di maria and falcao, world class talent. How much did that cost Van Gaal ? Falcao, Rojo, Blind, Shaw, Di Maria.......
Koeman has spent alot less and still doing a better job.
Im sure with 200m and players on 250-300k a week i could sort united out too, not having a pop mate but Van Gaal has sorted nothing out but buy big. Im sure his points tally was mirror image of Moyes after so many games, yet Van Gaal is the second coming of a fergie type manager yet moyes is braindead.
Utd are going to send Januzaj out on loan. He could do a job for us on the wing surely?
Better than McGeady but so is my nan (she's dead)Utd are going to send Januzaj out on loan. He could do a job for us on the wing surely?
Defoe ........ £14m package ...... to Sunderland.
Football's gone 'kin mad.
He is definitely going to score against us thoughWHAT?!
Defoe is so overrated in this country. No one abroad would ever take any notice of him, because he's bang average. The way the pundits go on in this country, you'd think he was Gerd Muller
