Performances improved.

However, why the hell did he not use the third sub sooner? Our players were gone and it's no coincidence the player with the freshest mind scored the equaliser.

We still haven't won for ages.

It's still all on the West Brom game and always has been. Well last few weeks anyway.

Lose and we'll be in deep poop and so will Martinez.

But, play anything like last two games and the Baggies are getting utterly humped.

Blame me for tonight lads, was chatting with a load of Geordie's today about the match and I said I would take an exit tonight for a win against West From and focus on the Europa league which seems to suit our style of play better.

The football gods have listened to me or will punish me next Monday as well.

I felt that while the first half was okay, in the second half we looked beaten until Mirallas got one out of nowhere. Confidence is still evidently an issue and until we get that next win (and it needs to be a decent one I think) then I think we're on thin ice. Not saying the last few games haven't been a massive improvement on the previous four or five, but we're far from a recovered side. Martinez deserves some time though now I think. Issue is he really does have to strengthen still, and I can't see it happening for some reason.
