well they gave it everything so you cant complain to much. but what the fook was mcready thing of?
might be a blessing in the long run with are injury list and number of games to come.

it was an awful lunge, it did look like he was trying to pull out but on a wet surface at that speed, he was always going to take him out. how carroll got through that whole game without a yellow though was very bad. when he brought lukaku down, it was almost carbon copy to the first yellow mcgeady received.

the ref had a good first half, but after that he fell to pot. i will blame the linesman though because they gave him no help and were absolutely cack. both teams shouldn't have been awarded fouls, but in the end they should have been penalties ha

The euro league has a much better prize and our style works well against the European teams better than it does in the PL,we just need to avoid English teams.

Did anyone else see Adrian throw his gloves to the floor during the run up? Talk about psychological warfare, tbf that was some impulsive genius, Joel must have shat 'self haha

McGeady can do one. Proud of the effort and the character shown. They need to take something from that. Two of our players missed penalties and one of them was a goalkeeper. Every played on that pitch gave their all.

Despite loosing on penalties it was a great show by the team, our best performance for a while and proof that a return to winning ways are just around the corner. Backed by terrific support throughout the game by the fans.

in regards to the ref and the calling of fouls, all I will say is i wish Besic had the same immunity that Carroll does.

even the Fox announcers referred to him as a wrecking ball running into people. elbowing Baines, giving Rom a quick elbow to the ribs while sliding his legs out from under him, forearm shiver to Jags back... even trying to intentionally arm the ball in extra time.
