Only Everton could snatch an injury time equaliser, score with ten men to force extra time, save the last pen to keep us in it after the alloted time, lead 3 times in sudden death pens, have everything seemingly go in their favour and still manage to lose.

Good character and all that, or should I say Mirallas trying to prove a point. Joel made some crucial saves and Besic showing his worth again. Still really lacked the cutting edge though, if only Mirallas had started.

Typing this with shaking hands. We showed the we're capable of fighting, that we have character, we were so brave tonight. But maybe it's for the best, we now can go on to saving our league season. And with this type of fight who knows what we can do in Europa. Still gutted to lose, will not calm down for a couple of hours
