I hold this guy almost as responsible for Martinez for what's gone wrong.

Completely not his fault I might add as Bobby himself picks him but he has pushed Barkley out wide and for me has started the snowball of these lame and inbalanced team selections that have us where we are today with the lads not knowing what the hell to do on the pitch.

Thought he was world class today when he moved deeper into central midfield.
That attempt at a 30 yard through ball that Stevie Wonder could see wasn't on was superb.

Same problem we had with Cahill, limited footballer but puts in the graft and scores the odd goal making him a manager favorite and someone the fans think of as important.

Can be effective but We should be picking and choosing what games he plays and not squeezing him into every starting line up

spot on, although atleast in moyes's style of play cahill in his prime WAS to an extent effective, Naismith isn't behind the striker and never will be but is played there time after time.

Very pedestrian, fair enough he put's in a shift unlike most of the rest of them, but the idea of watching him grow old with us is yet another depressing facet of this season... he'll be good in the championship mind, along with McGeady :cheers:

He does give it a go, has good movement in the box, quite good in the air,nicks an odd goal but the truth of the matter is that he is not a Top Six player.
He has no pace, cannot beat a man, crab passer, a diver ( and everyone knows it), and
slows moves down.

Good player to have off the bench as he's all effort.

Real team player but just doesnt have rhe quality.

Technically not up to standard in most areas - best finisher we have though...which says it all really
