ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC"

Just think though , lads . We know and accept that Everton are currently a bit meh. Some lovable kopites will still believe they are in the title race

This is the difference between most Evertonians and most Liverpool supporters. Your feet are firmly grounded (well, apart from a few deluded souls such as your very own @bizzaro , bless him - but I don't reckon even he believes half the stuff he comes out with) lol

Meanwhile Kopites will (try) and have us all believe they're still a force in world football and will win the league by 2016, or something.

I haven't seen any of your match either mate. Only watched highlights of the United game and caught some of the Arse-QPR one.

As things stand, Liverpool and Everton are in a right ol mess. Spurs are improving week on week, we were really good yesterday (bar Jonny Evans and Phil Jones looking dodgy as always) and Arse were pretty good. Can't see past us and Arsenal getting top 4 with City and Chelsea now although Spurs will have a say in that.

Liverpool be lucky to finish 8th. I don't want to comment on you lot because I like you but I fear the worst (not relegation but the murky depths of bottom half of table).

Bewilderment best sums up our last two matches mate. Especially after last season.

spurs havent even been that good. yesterday they were shocking and very lucky to get the 3 pts
They do my swede in that lot, even luckier than the RS,and christ that says something, they should even be below us,they have somehow through luck/bad refereeing decisions extracted themselves from defeat to victory on at least half a dozen occasions this term.

I don't buy into the 'luck' theory. Footy is simple - get a decent striker and put the round thing into the net. Spurs have that in Harry Kane right now, we have it in Rooney, Van Persie and Falcao.

bit early to judge Kane, even gash strikers can hit a purple patch, he looks decent from what i've seen, and is clearly loving his football at the moment, hopefully he kicks on

haha yeah, that is all football is about. i mean barcelona weren't lucky when they knocked out CL semis a few years back. they were clearly the better team.

Not what I mean. You can't say a team is "lucky" over the course of 38 matches. Wherever you finish in the league is where you deserve to finish, more or less. If Spurs finish 4th this season, they'll have deserved it.

Very true. It IS too early to judge players like Kane, Sterling, Januzaj etc.

But i've noticed many people on internet forums have a habit of slating young players. Far too early to tell what player they will become.

I like the looks of Kane though. Will he become a Spurs great? Time will tell but he's a better option than Lazybayor and Soldad0.

Work both ways though Jim people rave about young players who havent really done anything

rooney sort of broke the mold by being a fairly instant success, people forget it took time for even the likes of zidane, ronaldo and ballack to become consistently top class

#headfeelsfirmlypatted

Thanks Manchester United fans. We like to feel you come patting our heads every now and again.

The belief that Manchester United are "back in the big time" now. Laughable.

Chelsea are x 100000 times the team United are.
