All the EFC replica kits are close to selling out

I ordered a heap of stuff a month ago and it took 3 emails before they bothered replying to say most of what I bought was not in stock. When I bought and paid for it, it said only 1 item was not in stock.

Amateur hour ffs

So kitbag will go back to Everton with a revised longer term contract hoping to produce and sell more merchandise in the future which Everton will sign as they won't have to do anything but collect a measly sum instead of sorting properly.

Ever decreasing circles with Everton when it comes to the commercial as well as footballing side of the club!!!!

Inefficient, inadequate etc, etc, etc............................

Bah bloody humbug

Surprising this. Always thought the retail element of the EFC business was outstanding with reliable and efficient partners.

Weird that we're running out of kits..yet Coral are giving away a free 2nd or 3rd kit for new customers who place a £25 bet.

So the kit that the club made you only buy from a website or themselves is not correctly stocked at the one of only 2 times a year where the demand will be high.

Im sorry but there are some terrible people running these sorts of departments in the club. that should be a sackable offence for whoever is at fault here, the amount of money the club are going to lose out on is ridiculous and there wont be any more until february?! So three months before the new kit is announced?

Why can't we have one year go by where things make sense at the club and its not got areas run like a joke in comparison to anyone else?

everytime i browse onto the online store, i check out the kids's sizes for the jerseys and almost certainly they dont have the size I want EVERY time.................really is shocking

They ordered Kits based on last years sales figures. How could they know sales would go up 65%? Would people rather they wasted money stockpiling thousands upon thousand of kits hoping they sold out when usually we are left with a massive surplus of kits that never get sold and we loose money on them

It's called having a decent sales department and being able to forecast figures.

"Everton regret to inform supporters that due to high demand certain items of 2014/15 replica kit are close to selling out..."

If people read this properly, it does not say that Kitbag or anybody else has under produced, failed to deliver, forgotten to order - it says due to high demand... doesn't that suggest that even the best projected sales figures have been shattered ?

Anybody who seriously thinks that the club or Kitbag have failed to look at previous sales history and factored in increased crowd numbers entering the shops just on match days alone when ordering stocks for December needs to calm down.

"So, are the club & Kitbag the only ones that didn't see this coming? Seriously? Crap badge, half arsed kit, they'd know orders were down and should have expected that all the people that didn't buy a kit last season would be itching to buy this seasons!"

Last season's kits all sold in record numbers, so that argument doesn't really hold water.

Sales are approx. 65% up on last season primarily because of the season we had and massively re-invigorated fans who may be even keener to buy replica kits/merchandise on the wave of enthusiasm.

Definitely. I've done this for a living, I won't deny it is difficult when placing orders months in advance and matching production schedules to potential sales while keeping surplus to a minimum, but you rely on every piece of information you can get your hands on. The backlash over the badge, plus the excellent last season, increased ticket sales home and away, back in Europe and on the box a lot more should have been massive indicators that sales would increase significantly.

Sales people are sacked left right and centre in every business, if they missed figures this much they should already be out. Its the way sales works.
