Cant believe Cals been banned again, surely this is an over 18s forum? Swearing is used in football and always will be, whether its by the players or the fans.

Hes right, Kenwright is an utter ****, you dont hear a word from the Barrymore **** when we need players, but the second Moyes works his magic and we get to a Cup Final he crawls out of his hole and milks it.

Unreal. If you banned everybody for the use of the C word, there would be no posters left. I feel as tho you are picking on Cal, its not really fair, the other times I thought he deserved a ban, but this 1 is taking the piss.

Thanks for the Infraction, I like it here, but somethings arent utterly fair. I shall refrain from posting untill Cals Suspension is over.

Love you all.

Get off your horse.

Firstly, no, its not an over 18s forum.

We do ask that all visitors follow our relatively laid back guidelines to ensure these forums remain user-friendly.

Contributions must not:
a ) Contain any material which is defamatory of any person;
b ) Contain any material which is obscene, offensive, hateful or inflammatory;
p) Poor, profane or obscene language of any type is not welcome - even in jest.

Failure to comply with the above will likely result in either an infraction, suspension or termination of your account.

Infractions Explained
60 points = Suspended For 7 Days.
80 points = Suspended For 14 Days.
100 points = Perm Banned.

The most common infractions are ;
Inappropriate Language: 10 points
General Behaviour Warning: 20 points
Minor Spamming: 20 points
Posting Abusive/Offensive Material: 40 points
Spammed Advertisements: 100 points
10 and 20 point infractions expire after 30 days, the rest after 45 days.
Cal has been suspended for exceeding his infractions - infractions like others, including yourself, have received in this thread.

We have the 8th highest wage bill in the prem. That cheap penny pinching [Poor language removed]. Its time to bring in Bin Laden.

How many times has Cal been banned? How many warnings should he recieve before lessons are learned? HB has not been supported so why should he? Both must have deserved their infractions/bans. I hate seeing anyone banned but i feel it is wrong to judge the mods decisions in taking such action.

It really, really isn't hard.

Personal abuse has, and never will, be tolerated here.

Infractions are given for momentary lapses. If you exceed so many, you are automatically suspended for several days.

"Picking on Cal". Pathetic accusation. Theres no grey area, he called people "c**ts", its blatantly there. He, like other members (as you can blatantly see, indicated by a red card bottom right of a post), received infractions. Virtually all members have received infractions at some point.

If you don't like it, off you go. Theres other forums. Go on BlueKipper, you can call fellow Evertonians everything under the sun on there.

On here, I won't allow it.

End of story.

Danny, I can see your point when you suspend or infract a poster for abusing another poster. I've sinned and been sinned against on that one. But I think when it's about a public figure - and one who, let's face it, is controversial in Everton circles - it's a bit different. I know your rules state defamation is the key thing to bear in mind, but if, for example, someone were to call Thatcher or Brown a c**t, it'd slide by without fuss. I think that confuses people, and I dont believe you can coherently hold the line on that rule.

No need for that mate.

A member actually received an infraction for a comment made towards Thatcher, think it was Reidy. So no, it wouldn't slide by. The only chance that will happen is if it wasn't noticed or reported.

Any abuse I notice or gets reported will never be tolerated. Especially in the Everton forum - were all posts are visible by ALL without the requirement to register (t&c not agreed).

Its irrelevant how controversial a person is. What should I do? specify who its ok to abuse? Is that what you are suggesting? Be more lenient towards abuse towards those who may or may not deserve it? How its that distinguished? Now that would confuse people...

No abuse is allowed.

Broken windows and all that.
