RAWK - the gift that keeps on giving, time & time again.

-------------------------

The atmosphere at Anfield will be unlike anything the Basel players will have witnessed, the loudest, most passionate cauldron of fire. surrounded by the most knowledgeble and supporting of fans in the world. Playing at the most deafening ground in the world.

We are Liverpool

We are coming

[Poor language removed] those who stand before us

YNWA

That is funny, but I've seen this guys posts before and I'm pretty sure he's a WUM. Possibly an Everton or Utd. fan?

I could't care less what they do, I just don't want them to finish 3rd in their group and end up in the EL with us - they can finish 1st, 2nd or 4th, (preferably 4th), I don't care which, but just not 3rd.

If 4th they drop out, if 1st or 2nd they'll never win it. Honestly, they won't win it. But please, not 3rd.

they finish 3rd

we both make it to the final

Hibbert smashes a 93rd minute winner past Mignolet

Thought RAWK's Everton thread was quite amusing...sauce for the goose, sauce for the gander I guess
I must admit I read it for a laugh, sometimes it's shake-your-head ridiculous though. we we're getting ripped for drawing away to Krasnodar ...we've never been lower than 1st in our group, and have topped it with a game to spare - a group that by general consensus was thought to be tricky before a ball had been kicked, and RAWK were laughing that we dropped points away from home in Europe.

I admire their ambition, but there were more pressing issues facing the club when they bought him. He's not a bad player, but their first choice backline is Howards (35), Baines 29/30, Distin (37), Jagielka (32), Hibbert (33) and is shielded by Barry (34). That's 6 players with a combined age of 201 years!

Are these actually joking? I could understand the lid maybe thinking Distin is first choice and not Stones, but on what planet is Hibbert first choice over Coleman?

Make Us Dream etc....more Rodgers Ramblings from The Mirror

(edit)
“After that defeat at Palace, something had to happen. I had to be more autocratic in my approach to things.
“If you are going to be at a club a long time, you can’t be autocratic all the time
“It has to become very much a democratic situation because you are working with people and trying to educate them into a way of playing. I tried to be democratic when we started work again in the summer.
“The problem was that I had brought in a lot of new players who didn’t know how I worked. They didn’t get it. After the Palace game something had to change. I felt I needed to become autocratic again.
“I wouldn’t say I’ve become more hardline. It’s more a case of more clarity, being more concise.”

“The difficulty has been that I have had no coaching time because of the demands of the Champions League. That means I have had to find out about the new signings we made in games.
“For us, we could not have wanted any more than to go to Anfield on Tuesday night needing to win the game to qualify. It’s perfect.

"I know, come February, when it [the Champions League] starts again, absolutely we will be a better team because of the players we'll have available if we manage to get through.
"When we restart we will be a better team and that is what I am looking forward to. We have seen that the best team doesn't always win the competition. You can get a good draw, a bit of luck and, as I've said.
"We will have a good side that can do well come February, I am sure." ................................................

Then the psychiatrist said..."well that's our time up Mr. Rodgers. On your way out, best ask Chantelle at reception to book a double appointment next time"

Plus Barry is actually 33. Splitting hairs, but still

Yep I was thinking EXACTLY the same mate, Red Genius - nearly all of his posts are like it but no-one ever seems to pick up on it over there as they are so used to that kind of candle-lit, romantic rubbish!

Yeah, that's the great thing about it. His posts just sort of slide in unnoticed because there is not a single irony radar active on that forum.

"Liverpool will pick from three possible front men to replace misfiring striker Mario Balotelli, claims the Daily Mail.

And the trio of attackers said to be interesting the Reds are West Ham United's Diafra Sakho, West Bromwich Albion's Saido Berahino and FC Porto's Jackson Martinez."

Amazing. They never learn do they? Me and my mate were laughing the other week at how it would be just like them to panic and sign a flavour-of-the-month striker like Berahino for around £20m. Imagine if they signed Sakho! Scenes!

Yeah, it is great how he slips things like this into a thread and no-one questions it.
