I agree. If we had a decent bankroller, someone who could pay the money to sign them and be able to offer the players good wages, we could bring in top players. Obviously not world class but players like Moutinho etc.

I dont think we would have a problem attracting players. We might not be seen as a HUGE club, but im fairly sure that the players agent would point out the top 6 finishes and the FA Cup Final is watched all the world, which will clearly improve our global brand.

The only problem mate is being able to afford these players. What is our transfer budget? Where has this money come from if indeed we have any? We are an attractive club these days but can we compete with rivals by offering them the highest wages?

Posted via Mobile Device That's the point i was making Steve, if we HAD the money. At the moment we cant compete ( though effing fair play mate we ain't doing too bad on a shoestring budget) with our rivals. As for our transfer kitty, your guess is as good as mine, skint, 10, 20 million? God knows.
