Arrogance is a good adjective to describe it.

We are far too complacent at times (like today after we had scored), and then we regularly seem to lack impetus to claw back a result.

If our tikka taka approach isn't working against a team, then sometimes you need to up the tempo or simply lump it into the box.

It isn't nice. It isn't clever. It isn't what I want all the time, and it certainly isn't enjoyable to watch.

Yet occasionally... just occasionally... it is what is needed. However, we seem to rigid and 'arrogant' to try this, as it doesn't suit our image.

The fact we only got a point from Hull doesn't bother me as much, as the fact how tepid our reaction was. At least show us some guile!

I'm not going to jump on this whole ridiculous Martinez out bandwagon, but he needs to proverbially wake up and smell the coffee.
Just lumping it wouldnt work for us, we dont have the players suited to it. We need more players who will take charge and go at players, that was our plan b last year with delafeu

To say the season is over is bullsht! Things can change quickly, and we're "only" 2 points below Spurs and Liverpool, and 7 from 4th. On the other side we're also only 7 points from 18th too. -_- . Based on our recent performences and especially the one today, i know it doesn't seem like it is going to change, but i believe this is as low as it gets and Martines better face it and let the players know! The least they can do is give it a go and try.
Today was absolute shte and hopefully the worst performance we will see this season. Distin and Pienaar seem to be done for good.

The point of the fume is less standing in table, than quality of football...we are dire

Pienaar and Distin are done. We all laugh at Stevie La who is clearly over the hill. Time to look at our players.
But, as with Osman, RM will probably extend their contracts

Unfortunately though, we have neither the players or apparent mentality for either tactic.

I'm not saying we should automatically revert to hoof football, far from it.

However, when nothing else is working I'd at least like to see the ball in the box. Someone might head it. May get a knock down, or a mistake.

As currently we are simply passing it around the outside of their area, and producing very little opportunities.

It hasn't, the fact martinez has completely knocked all chemistry out of the side by chopping and changing week in week out has done the damage imo. We had a tried and tested formula last season and he started to [Poor language removed] about with it playing 3 CAM's and no wingers etc. And the team looks disjointed and short of confidence

Has for me. We don't have the players to call off the bench to change a game enough and the chopping and changing has come in a bid to try and stop teams from sitting deep against us. It's like how teams are looking at the red [Poor language removed] before a match knowing that if they keep it tight at the back the chances of scoring at the other end are pretty high and it's the same thing being done to us.
