We need Barkley getting his eye back in that position again though. Hopefully Naismith is out for a few weeks to allow a run in the PL.
Jesus mate. 9 and half times out of 10 i generally agree with your posts but wishing a player, who is injured, to be sidelined for an extra period of time is a very low blow.

I agree that Barkley should be played in a role that he will flourish in but lets be honest, if he is as world class as we think and hope he is, he should slot back into that role with ease when the manager asks him to do that job. You don't forget how to ride a bike.

That midfield looks strong though: two proper wingers with Sammy at No.10.
I think its the right decision. I also expected Mirallas and Lukaku to sit this one out also. I think Spurs is the more important fixture this week. We really need to start picking up wins back to back in the league. Draws here and there are no good to us.
