ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC"

More Rodgerspeak edited from the Echo.........and a scathing riposte after it on the Echo online comment.

“Is this my biggest test? Yes, absolutely, there’s no getting away from that,” Rodgers said.
“I don’t like to whine or complain or make excuses. We’ve had the whole integration of a lot of new players and obviously it’s not gone as well as we would have wanted, there’s no doubt about that.
“But we have to embrace the challenge. We are in an adverse moment but that can make you stronger when you come out the other side. So for us now we have to regroup.
“Where we were at last year and the journey we were on, and you look where we are now as a team after the first 11 games of the season, then it probably looks like night and day difference.

Brendan, ever thought that you might be the problem? It all boils down to your decisions: who to sell, who to buy, which teams play, the tactics they adopt and substitutions made. After two and a half years and £200m + spent, this is of your making. We are where we are because of you, so what are you going to do differently to get us out of the predicament we are in? Perhaps recognise that your decision to play Gerrard as DM is wrong? Perhaps admit Lucas deserves to play? How about playing two up front as the forwards you bought can't play as lone strikers? When will you accept that binning Pepe for a dodgy keeper was ill advised? How about making the call that Lovren is not deserving of a place in the team? No offence Brendan, but you are in a mess and you need to accept that you might need better advice that your brother in law and Mike Marsh can offer. As a Liverpool supporter I do hope you pull it off.

hahahaha

The
article is by the kopite bascombe as well he knows better than all of us that he wasnt an academy product

They make me laugh with the smoke and mirrors around their academy. You only have to go back to all the guff a couple of years ago with the lad Conor Coady who was billed as the new Gerrard. He was an England international at all the youth levels, Dalglish had him as a future great in the first team squad and he captained England at last years U20s World Cup. He was sold to Huddersfield in August... went cheap too reportedly £375k. Rodgers ego has to justify some of the garbage hes bought by playing them, so any talented lad coming through there is behind the eight ball from the off.

ha, my whole recent activity page is full of me liking posts from that thread - and no i haven't gone through and liked every single post devaluing this.

Are we thinking Palace will do the RS tomorrow? Tempted to jump on them at odds of 17/5.

Got them 1 0 in the prediction league. Palace that is. I honestly reckon there is all sorts going on with the lovables. Balotelli being a bulb, Gerrards contract, Brenda being sussed by local match going reds, Sturridge injury, the owners thinking "wtf?", transfers, CL, PL, defence still a shambles, ropey keeper, zero PL goals from their strikers, (I think).

Now we rip them, obviously, but we all have mates who are reds, and they know. Said it before, the local matchday/ex matchday reds know their stuff, and are not idiots. Far from it.

I fancy 1-0 as well mate. Completely agree with you too, I think they're in complete meltdown.

Was told the other day the owners are really starting to ask some questions about Rodgers and are getting very impatient with him. I'm worried they might sack him and actually get someone decent in.

why are they all in the rodgers out bandwagon? he's got them the closest they've ever been to a prem title. look at their squad - no matter who's in charge they won't be achieving anything, so what's the point in sacking him now? the damage has been done so to speak.
