Howard's fault for not setting up the wall properly. The wall stayed where it was (Barkley was closest to it and he didn't move out of position - tried to get his head on it) but there was a massive gap where the Sunderland players used to be... Should have had another player in the wall or moved it over.

Of course he has it's his job really, an unforgiven position were mistakes are usually punished, he has won us plenty of points, he has also lost us a lot. This season he has lost us quiet a few. I just don't think he is a top top keeper. Would you rather have Forster or Begovic as the long term option or Hpward.

Oddly enough a few people on here tried to make out a few weeks back Mignolet was better than Howard, out of interest which goal do people think was the worse to concede at the weekend? Him carrying to ball over the line or Sunderland scoring with a very well taken free kick?

No of course not but off the top of my head, I can think of a goal against Leicester, Home to Palace he cost us all 3 point's, could be argued both the Liverpool and Sunderland goal's were also his fault, Swansea away in the League cup was also a poor night's work. I may be harsh on him but I think we can do better, and I seriously doubt many Evertonian's would take Howard over Begovic or Forster. But it's all about opinion's, hope he has a blinding season from here on, we will need him if we have any chance of a top 4 spot.

Honestly I would take Howard over Mignolet, but I think the Sunderland goal could have been avoided due to the poor wall. Mignolet made a good double save and Cahill was only a couple of yards out in fairness. The Kop sucked another one in

it wasn't clever at all was it? it was a monumental [Poor language removed] up and he got so so lucky. i have no idea what he was doing, we needed to get the ball down the other end to win the game and he was dallying around waiting for the ball to come back into his box, something we could all see wasn't going to happen. he's had a lot of brainless moments like this throughout his career. wonderful shot stopper, but everything else to his game is pretty dire, i just want a keeper where my heart doesn't stop everytime the ball goes back to him, he constantly looks like he's going to slice every kick out of play.
the wall set-up was utterly horrific as well. didn't say anything at the time because i thought it may have been me looking to pin the blame on him, but seeing these replays, that's just awful goalkeeping, he must have though gomez was going to take it.

Its beyond ridiculous the way Howard gets the blame all the time for goals. Take Sunday, i haven't seen to many people mention is was a stupid free kick Baines gave away in a dangerous position, if Howard is to know that Larson was going to do that then Baines should of known not to give away a free kick in such a daft place if Larson has the ability to do that, but its all Howards Fault because we like Baines.
Was the same with the rubbish wrote after the match at Old Trafford, blame Howard even thou United still had a lot of work to do after he kicked the ball up field and none of the outfield Everton players, including a fans favourite made any effort to stop United once they had the ball 40 yards away from goal.
He might of been at fault for the free kick at Anfield, mainly by bouncing on the spot which caused his late dive, but that was also a free kick the defence gave away which was a bad idea since Liverpool were never going to score from open play that day.
