S'Land playing with 2 up top? Should mean more space in midfield for our silky passing game to take hold. As long as we don't have one of our "can't handle long punts through the middle" days we should be ok I reckon #kissofdeath

Atsu to make impact off the bench

Pienaar injured again? Absolute joke that lad lately if he's crocked again

To describe someone as getting injured as a joke is a bit much mate. He's always taken a lot of knocks through the years and unfortunately it's catching up with him now. Martinez is obviously just giving him a rest - he'll probably be hitting a beach somewhere over the international break - hopefully have him back fully fit after the international games.

As I said earlier I think we've seen the best of him, sadly. However when he is fit his interplay, especially with Baines is a beauty to behold at times. He is however someone we need to replace as a priority either in January or the summer. Sad to see him go, we've seen some boss footy from him but I think his time is more or less up now.

I watched Mcmanamon play for Wigan last night just by chance looks just as good should have had him instead of Kone and the Birdman in hindsight!

Redmond be the better option from that league.

I really would like us to go for him in Jan.

Dithering Davie had him in his sights too

Loving that lineup we've selected here. Decent pace and players with great techinical ability going forward, players with the intelligence to link our midfield and forwards as a unit.

Looking forward to seeing how they play together here
