If Bobby said Goodbye?

If Martinez had taken the RS job the year before Moyes left us, Do you think Kenwright would have looked at bringing in Rodgers

Serious question

What were Howard Kendall's qualifications in 1981? What were Joe Royle's in 1994? Neither of them had won anything as managers, until they came to us. Dare I mention Moyes...

What are his qualities? He's adored by the vast majority of Evertonians. He's a well respected young coach - Martinez only knew him 3 months before promoting him. I'm not privvy to the day to day goings on at Finch Farm, and neither are most GOT members, but based on what his fellow pros at Everton say about him, as well as the youth team he had coached, they all speak very highly of his skills.

Ordinarily I would want someone with experience.... but Ferguson is such a leader and a commanding figure, I think he would be worth a shot.
Kendall and Royle were managers though weren't they? They had a lot of experience.

A quality as a coach is to be adored by Evertonians? !!

I'd be too busy fuming calling him a traitor etc etc etc before worrying about a new manager.

But, whoever the new manager is, I will proclaim him to be boss and glad that the negative Catalan clown is gone. Plus, this new manager gives us inspiration and all that other stuff as well.

I heard John Aldridge was on Talksport trying to big himself up for the job. Said he's got all the credentials and can relate to the fans

Claire Cohen. But must give press conferences in her underwear!

If Bobby were to say he was going to leave, to say, manage Barcelona or Juventus or someone like that, where would we start to look? Who should we take on? Okay, a few options.

1. Established One - a Top Level Manager that you would like?
2. Expected One - who you would expect BK to get in?
3. Crazy One - a young manager who you would love to see in?

I think we all know it is hypothetical.
Thank Christ for that !

Don't worry about Martinez leaving mate, at least not in the short term anyway. He needs to prove himself a bit more, both in the Premiership and in Europe before the big boys are likely to knock on our door.

Just enjoy the footie we're going to play for the next few seasons, that's enough for me anyway.
