The current top 4 (I suspect), will finish the top four...in some 1-4 order. I think this will be Southampton's year. The summer business they did was miraculous
....presume you mean getting a bundle for Lambert, Lovren and Lallana.
....I still think there's a place and possibly two up for grabs but somebody needs to put a run together and believe they can do it.

...and him. I have to admit that I thought this season would be a struggle for Soton so it's an amazing effort. The league tends to sort itself by 10 games so they are not in a false position by any means.

It usually does mate, but it seems well odd this season for some reason. Like Southampton. As far as I can recall, they played Liverpool first (ish) game, should have won, but lost, and the only other "top" side they have played is Spurs. Who beat them. But then Spurs are dreadful as well!

....it is odd, Roydo, which is why I think only Chelsea and City are certainties. If Soton are still up there at the squeaky bum stage there is a good chance they will wobble, it might just suit somebody like us to play with a bit of freedom in catch up. We've not performed well but neither have most of the others, we have as good a chance as those around us.

you know a part of me wants Southampton to continue to achieve. They were 'supposed' to be relegation fodder this season...and I like an 'underdog kicks ass' story

Even with that result against Swansea we are still only 4 points off fourth. We will be up there, I have a feeling this year will be a great year to be blue. I think we will finally win a cup and finish top four.
Yeah not really a big squad, and some of their key players such as Tadic and Pelle being foreign, in which case you often see them struggling in the second half of the season when new to the league
