realistic transfer improvements

The only thing we need is a cheat code to enter that makes all our players fit.

We have an outstanding first 11, but sadly we havent had the chance to play it at all.

Ross picked up an injury the day before the season started and whilst The Nais has come in and done an outstanding job, hes not the same type of player as Ross and thus we have struggled pretty badly with the style of play we ideally wanted to play. This has left the manager to try different things which havent really helped due to some pretty awful form from a few players.

Then you get a player like Mirallas who was just starting to put in some really great performances and his hammy snapped.

Blaming injuries is for kopites tho IMO.

The players we have in the squad are more than good enough, Hibbert has come in and been a little hit and miss, mostly hit for me tho personally, hes had a few shaky moments in games but he certainly hasnt been as bad as some people are making out.

We certainly need some CBs and probably a GK in the Summer tho, but unless we can get rid of Alcatrazaaz, Distin and Howard before then, I doubt we will replace them until the Summer.

So if you asked me who I would buy in the January window and I would say nobody, we have a fairly deep squad, with options all over the park, if a really top, top class winger became available that could play number 10 with a bit of creativity I would maybe say it would be a good option. But I personally still have faith in Jags and Distin to a degree, I know they have been pretty awful, but I consider them both to be good defenders, just in a run of utterly shocking form.

The big issue for me is in goal, Howard isnt getting any younger and im not sure Robles is at that level needed to really push him on, but as far as January goes I really dont think we can afford to spend any money.

We spent a lot of money over the last 2 years and whilst the TV money certainly helps fund that, as well as player sales, any reduction in our league placing would really hit us hard, not to mention the latest ground move, zzzzzzzzzzzzzzz, where we will again prolly spend millions on looking at sites, getting plans made only to realise that grounds arent actually free and at some point somebodys gotta pony up actual money to buy it, but thats for another thread.

tl;dr
All our boss players are injured, we have a big squad, we just need some players to find some freaking form.
Besic is GOD.

Saying to my mate earlier would love for us to go for Reid. He's a very good player, out of contract next summer. If he hasn't re-signed by Jan we should be looking at him. Very able deputy/comp for Jags/Stones

Milner has been playing out of his skin for City. They're trying to keep him after he made noises about moving. If he doesn't have his head turned he'd be available on a free and you'd be stupid not to inquire.

He'd be an absolutely brilliant signing, but he will have his pick of the elite clubs and therefore I think it is unlikely that we will sign him. As you said, City want to keep him and probably will do. I think he is cup-tied in European competitions as well, which will be a negative for any club that is interested in him and playing in Europe.

He wouldn't go in Jan anyway it'd be summer but yeah I think he'd want to go to a CL club. Could see him doing a role at Arsenal like. He'd honestly be a lock for us due to his versaitility but think City'll keep him

Do you think City would let him leave on a free? Surely they would rather sell him whilst they have the chance? But then again they wouldn't want to strengthen their rivals mid-season. If he leaves on a free, then I think he will end up at the RS and be amasing for them.

I think we have a better chance of paying money and signing him in January than we do of getting him on a free next Summer. I see him staying at City to be honest, but I would love him at Everton, he would be brilliant!!!
