Why play a 3-5-2 when we haven't got 2 decent centre backs, let alone 3? Plus where would Di Maria play, as a wing-back?

It's called working with you've got - Van Gaal was right to change the system.

It's because BT don't want their game to clash with the game on sky

I feel terrible for him like, but you play him and Blind and your midfield is very getatable (yeah I did make up a word). I'm starting to think people think the same when we play Barry though so, you know, who knows? He's well past it, I agree. I really hope you lot play Hibbert - I am praying to the Football Gods!
So much jealousy....Bloody Europa League![]()

Maybe so. Feels like he's a bit exposed at the moment because Nais isn't coming deep enough to help out like a Barkley probably would. Hence the reason Barry is a walking yellow card at the moment.Barry is a better player than Fletcher. Reads the game well, better passer, more intelligent. Very good signing IMO.

Please play Fletcher. Please United.
I don't think that's true mate. It's because it was supposed to be the early Saturday kick off but because you lot are in Europa League, the fixture was put back to Sunday. Bloody Europa League![]()
Feels right for us at this moment in time though I think. Leapfrogging straight into the champions league without much recent European experience, whilst an achievement, would be quite a risk too.
Honestly mate, I think that competition is a waste of space. Bring back the old Cup Winners Cup please!

I like Naismith don't get me wrong and I'm pleased he's been knocking them in almost at will, but he imbalances the midfield behind him and it magnifies the lack of pace Barry has meaning McCarthy has to do about 3 or 4 people's jobs for them.Yeah but Naismith is on fire in front of goal. He's proving a lot of people wrong this season, me included. Very good player.
