ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC"

I think I remember something about this a few months back. Anyone know what it's about?

Looks like the Gerrards have had a "fracas" with this Paul Alan Lloyd fella for which he's trying to get compo. The copper has tried to get the CCTV footage of it whilst off-duty and been found out and the crown, not Gerrard, are prosecuting her.

Court injunctions all over the shop on this. Best to swerve it.

So Rodgers is finally coughing to missing Suarez....couched in his management-speak that sounds like a Human Resources manager gargling with a buzzword manual.

‘I think at this moment in time we are re-focusing and reintroducing principles into our game that has brought the win ratio we’ve had in the last 18 months,’ said Rodgers.
‘When you introduce a raft of new players and lose the core of players, that’s obviously a factor and then it becomes a little bit broken.....'

Garbage. That "win ratio in the last 18 months" surely is based on the lost "core of players", the core being Suarez. And hes not there anymore.

Cheers.

I don't really get the Walcott bashing, he is a great player and was playing really well for Arsenal before he was injured (both times) his major flaw is that he's injury prone. If Sterling is as good he'll be doing well.

Walcott is a much better player than people give him credit for. He is a half decent striker who is a good winger and fits into arsenals system brilliantly. some of the goals he scores as well are great for the role he plays, much more effective then most other wise players in the league, ours included.

Put it one way, he would walk into our team ahead of everyone bar kev

I have to disagree.

He is a decent enough player, IMO but no way is he a "great" player.

I got tickets for a match at their place off the lad who used to play for Forest who was from Heswall, can't remember his name but he was one of two brothers who were decent players. Anyway we watched the game then went in the players lounge afterwards. There had been a coming together with Carr and Psycho in the match and I asked him if he knew what happened. He said that Carr had skipped passed him twice in the first ten minutes and at the next available opportunity Psycho had grabbed him round the neck and said 'if you do that to me a (swear) again I'll knock you out and I don't care what the ref does'.

Was it Ian Woan?

According to Brenda, all the new players that he himself brought in over the summer have disrupted his "philosophy" causing their bad start to the season. The man has found a way to defeat his own philosophy. Incredible!

So all we have to do to beat the rs tomorrow is buy them a few players?

Was loling at some Norway supporters earlier - they were trying to convince me that they have a youth system. Flannagan, Wisdom, the kid whoplayed during the week. They also mentioned Sterling, to their surprise they didnt know that they actually signed him from London rather than developed.

Shockingly they were telling me, that he is a better player then Barkley - i just felt smug and a little bit sorry for them if im being honest. Apparently Barkely couldnt play in a pass and move system that the mighty Norway implement. Lol, Lol, Lol. These people really need help tying their shoe laces together.

I often wonder where they get their confidence from:

They have a gash youth system, but its apparently excellent.
Thy sign middle of the road players from Southampton, Origi and that lad from Portugal for fortunes - who are proving dross - according to them they are the second coming.
They havnt recognised that Suarez was and i mean this was about 50% of their actual talent and effectivness - despite them being absolute Cat at the football.

what makes this all the more brilliant is that they live with hope, the best type of despair is the one when they hoped! I love this.

Frankly they're going to get nowhere near the top four, from what i can see its between us, Utd and Spurs.

I hoestly think rodgers is going to be on the ropes at the end of the season, there is no pressure like wasting 100mill + on players pressure when it comes to answering to owners.
