Conspiracy Theories

seriously, I've read a book called debunking the 9-11 debunking..it could go on forever.

All it takes is to look into it, if it doesn't raise any questions that's fair enough, but it's difficult to put counter opinion to the 'accepted norm' in a few sentences :)

brilliant! lol

i have no problems on people having opinions on it, its when they are completely uninformed or they have decided the source they have read is the one they like/find most interesting and stick with that!

I've always found the Russian Apartment Bombings interesting. Yeltsin was on his way out, he had lost a war in Chechnya, when all of a sudden the "Chechens" started bombing loads of apartments in various cities in Russia. With supplies only the FSB could get their hands on. Amazingly, the FSB got caught red handed planting bombs, their operatives were arrested, then the next day they were released because it was described as "a training exercise!" Even though bomb experts insisted it was not "sugar" as the government said, but it was real, live bombs to kill and maim.

Anyway, The Russian people demanded revenge on the Chechens, and in sailed hero Putin to crush the Chechens, win a second war, and the rest is history.

dont anything about this, but very interesting

Your eagerness to swallow the conspiracy theory has obviously removed your desire to challenge their claims

No, what I have presented to the present discussion is alternative considerations to the official narrative since I find the latter difficult to entertain. I have clearly stated I do not know what happened on 9/11and thus I remain open to alternative explaination. Live at the moment is the Pistorius verdict. The official narrative will say he is not guilty of murder. I have my suspicions about that narrative as well.

This is one I've come across whilst reading up on the Cold War. He defected to the west and was the guy who accused Wilson of being a KGB agent. He wrote a book in 1984 outlining Russia's long term plans and almost every prove able accusation that he made has come to fruition, including Putin. Really interesting.

Anatoliy Golitsyn worked in the strategic planning department of the KGB. He defected with his wife and daughter to the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) via Helsinki on December 15, 1961. He was interviewed by James Jesus Angleton, CIA counter-intelligence director. The KGB tried everything to discredit Golitsyn, including accusing him of being involved in illegal smuggling operations.

General John Hackett and CIA counter-intelligence director James Angleton identified Golitsyn as "the most valuable defector ever to reach the West."

In 1984, Golitsyn published the book 'New Lies for Old'. In the book he warns that the Soviets will pretend to break away from hard-line communism to lull the West into a false sense of security. He also predicted: "If (liberalization) should be extended to East Germany, demolition of the Berlin Wall might even be contemplated." The Berlin Wall was demolished completely in 1990.

Golitsyn also predicted the formation of a European Union "with representation from the Soviet Union and Eastern Europe." Mark Riebling said that 139 of 194 predictions made by Golitsyn in 'New Lies for Old' had been fulfilled by 1993. Nine of them seemed "clearly wrong", and the remaining 46 were "not soon falsifiable."

The film 'Mission: Impossible' featured a fictionalized character based on Anatoliy Golitsyn named Alexander Golitsyn, played by actor Marcel Iures.
