Haha ok pat.great doco that.poor george was given a psychological meltdown by ali.imagine having to face that avalanche of wit and charisma before t fight.he was beat before he stepped into the ring

have we mentioned "touching the void" ???

the two fellas trying to climb the mountain in peru and it gets to the point where one of them has to make the decision to cut the safety rope between them meaning certain death for his chum

it's absolutely gripping

Jesus. I saw that as a young kid when it first came out and had no idea of any details until I saw this post, just the situation they were in. Shows how stuff so gripping stays with you.

Watched Blackfish recently. It's about killer whales in captivity and focuses especially on one called Tilikum which has killed 3 of its trainers yet still gets used in shows today.

Really sad at times regarding the treatment of these whales, the trainers killed so brutally and the people who are basically tricked into causing the animals harm.

Eye opening, really. I knew the whales are treated badly but not like that, and when it's given a personal or human element it makes you think.

Would definitely reccommend.

would you cut the rope if it was me dangling helplessly down there mate ?

EDIT: Seriously though that's mad, I've always thought back to it when seeing pictures of Everest and stuff and assumed I just imagined it.

it is mad you're right, what a dilemma to be in,
although it was actually in the Andes, and Everest is the Himalayas, but I know what ya mean
