Billy Kenwright never forgets..........this has Bill Kenwright smoke and mirrors written all over it, and one thing is certain...Everton will benefit one way or the other. If Kenwright was as rich as Abramovich he would have built Chelsea for half as much as the Russian.

Really? Because the last player we loaned to the academy (what a ridiculous notion) went back and was eventually sold for peanuts to a rival, and now looks to be an excellent player. How did we benefit there?

Was loaning Dier supposed to be a stop-gap to sort out the third party ownership nonsense in advance of him signing permanently? Would hope we've learned our lesson in that regard since. This one genuinely seems like a move on the part of Henen's agent to cut Anderlecht-Everton negotiations out of the equation in advance of a permanent transfer.

It is obvious the player has signed for Everton.
What is not obvious is how this was done and what part Anderlecht,Olympiacos, Henen and his agent had in the deal.
There may be other issues at stake here which have not been considered at all ,such as tax savings. We only assume that this deal was put in place to wrongfoot Anderlecht.

Wouldn't have done had he stayed in all likelihood.

He still hasn't looked a excellent/good player mate, scored a couple as a cb - fair enough but looks absolutely horrid defending - especially against the rs
