Just read up on the Chelsea forum.

People seemed to think he was their best striker last year and a really good influence on the younger players....however there was some comments to the press after Mourinho said he was older than 32 (he called Jose an idiot for saying that) and the Chelsea fans didn't like that.

Well he is not as old as the Yak when he started with us.

He won't but imagine him finding anything near the form of his younger years.... and he won't but then imagine him injury free for the year!?

If he can stay fit, I can easily see 20-25 goals/assists.

Playing Lukaku just behind him with McGeady & Mirallas either side!

Err...

We appear to have signed Samuel Eto'o.

Us, like, Everton. Regardless of age, that's not something I thought I'd ever type.

Flabbergasted and very pleased tbh...
We can't actually afford to pay him but we'll get 3 or 4 games in (including the derby) before he gets his next wage slip, should be enough

That is boss.

He scored 9 in 21 apps last season, that's still an excellent return. Great signing.

Cant really believe we've signed a player of this calibre, even if he is 33.
