Bit like a few with Bilyaletdinov, Kone etc. too.

Not every player who signs for Everton is instantly brilliant. I don't think it's being negative to have a few concerns, unless it's an all out "he's absolute tosh, always hated him, sadslayhsahieuoioo" etc. post, but I haven't seen many - if any - in this thread of that nature. Most of the comments are of the "if" nature more than anything - not writing him off, but having a degree of caution about him. Some people would have preferred an alternative like Welbeck - I disagree, but it's not a crime to want a different player in an ideal situation.

I really can't give a better reply to that than this post by chico.

Why doesn't everyone wait for until next year before fuming at him being over the hill on big wages or praising him as still dead boss?

And just see how he goes.

You must be on the dope too.

I thought it was just me. I swear I heard someone say we'd signed Samuel Eto'o.

Something like that might make me fume less over those four points we just dropped because they're all on the ale and just what is it with Kone and this must be some Chelsea plot cause they'll strand us dry through the African Cup of Leisure.

Then they just tease us with the sexy footy and then break our hearts. I'm a victim, here. Hey! Over here!!

Then I think about the RS and I smile.
