Leiscester deserved the draw. Arsenal didn't. Even if you field a side of 11 Li Tie's you shouldn't be giving up a 2 goal lead with 10 min to play.

We were knackered in the second half of both games. I don't care if Martinez is a physio or the new genius, he's no master at getting teams up to speed for season start.

Maybe it will benefit us later in the season who knows but our pre-season is hurting us at the moment.

all i was suprised with was bringing on atsu and not besic, but cant really complain martinez is a positive manager and makes positive changes, we do need to learn how to see out games tho

there's positive and there's naiive...
made no sense throwing on 2 wingers when our legs were gone in central midfield and we didn't need to score.....at 2-0 with 10 minutes left the job was done, he subs should have been to kill the game not keep it open....its a different scenario to Moyes sitting back on a 1 goal lead, that's always dangerous....we should have put besic in the midfield to give us so much needed energy, and even stones into the backline and played 3 centre backs....

totally agree with you we should of brought both of them on and totally killed any space for them to get near our goal

The Leicester game was a bit easier to take, as the draw was probably a fair result. It's much more difficult to accept giving away two soft goals to an underperforming Arsenal side in the last ten minutes of a game. But worrying about the impact of dropped points at the end of a season now is madness.

We're probably going to snatch points from the jaws of defeat ourselves at some point during the season, we're going to get wins where we probably shouldn't and other teams will do the same. There is not a side in the league (apart from the eventual winners) that won't be lamenting dropped points by May. The fact is if we beat Chelsea, and I think we can, we'll be a single point behind them and they'll still be title contenders. We'll be absolutely fine.
