Besic, stones sat on their bums whilst the mid and defence looked goosed mate, nowt wrong with depth, doesnt matter if its unused, kev was taken off for tactical reasons as he still had a boatload if energy, major problens seems to be bobby seems hetisant this season with changes rather than instinctive
Was surprised by the Kev sub, especially for Atsu. I like Ossie but since he looked far more tired than Mirallas, Besic would have been a better sub but that is the benefit of hindsight.

One of the things I liked most about Martinez was that decisiveness in his subs last year and they won a lot of games - hopefully he'll get back to that as the season goes on.

Why did martinez buy besic? Serious question I reckon he worries he'll get sent off/give away too many needless free kicks and put pressure on us which surely begs the question why sign him then knowing this?

I know mate, If he hasn't used him in all these PL games we have played up to now then he's never going to use him

FFS Martinez

Did you watch any of the first three games of last season? Two of those sides got relegated, the other was WBA at home where we failed to score and this was after a "good" pre-season.

Unreal knee-jerking and aimless blame throwing.

And this season was against a newly promoted side which will go straight back down and a team which has had most of its players at the World Cup.

Last season, for those two games, we didn't have Lukaku. We didn't have McCarthy. We didn't have Barry. We had bloody Kone and Alcaraz. This season we are so much stronger in terms of players but we bottle it because we aren't fit enough.

Oh, there is aimless throwing alright. Two wins, 4 points aimlessly thrown.

we should have 6 points now, instead we've set back and thrown away 4 massive points, and they are massive points particularly today.....
not having a second striker killed us last season, and its killing us already this season as lukaku isn't fit yet.....

we seemed to have a very short preseason this summer, and its showing....yes as a result we mightn't tire away towards the end of the season, but we blown a chance at a great start....

today was as sickening as it gets....

You lot really didn't do much either.
Doubt you'll get anywhere near top 4 based on that performance.
Wilshere? How about your very own Naismith? Stealing a living he is.

please, naismith just ran your guys ragged all over the shop, did the same in this fixture last season. wilshere does absoolutely nothing that influences any game.

naismith is joint top scorer, wilshere is as bang average as they come. naismith may not be a talented player but he gives 100%, yet he will always earn less than jack wilshere who's had everything handed to him on a plate so he doesn't need to, nor does he, work hard to achieve anything.
