Come across this article on facebook, because a mate of mine 'liked' it. First of all, the page it was posted on is called 'LFC fans and friends.' Friends? What friggin' friends? Juve?

Anyway, the Echo and James Pearce already starting the spin. Starts off by claiming Balotelli is taking a 50% pay cut to join them, before, wait for it..... saying he's taking a 50% pay cut and will only be getting paid £100k per week lol

Also, going by the headline, it was apparently Balotelli who "convinced Liverpool he was their man" LOL

Balotelli is very talented but he doesn't channel his talent in the correct way.

If Mourinho couldn't control him there's no way in hell Rodgers will be able to. This is a car crash waiting to happen and I'll be standing by when it does!

The u-turn comments out of that club over the fruitcake are pitiful.

The whole of English football knows what gnashers and co said about Balotelli weeks ago, now he's going to 'rehabilitate him'.

Well he better had, because if he doesn't this is going to haunt Rodgers forever.

I think overall they've bought well, they are behind Chelsea and City but their squad is on a par with Arsenal's I'd say.

His goalscoring record without the pens (pens he wont get off Gerrard) is pretty pitiful for a so called 'top' striker. He's going to be compared unfavourably with Suarez very, very soon.

Which says it all really - they finished second last season, now Rodgers is taking practically a new team into this season that will get 3rd/4th place.

Haha. Last season was a fluke, Suarez was a man on a mission to get his big move like Cristiano's last season at United.

Their aim for this season will be top 4 not the title.
