U18 started their title defence with a 6-3 win today.

Tom Davies, Harry Charsley, Calum Dyson and Delial Brewster hattrick, didn't play anywhere near as good as a 6 goal haul would suggest though.

Didn't see any outstanding performers, Dowell and Charsley played well, Walsh looked good when he came on late.

Wouldn't say so, we're packed full of defenders and centre mids really. Team lacked a lot of width yesterday and struggled to get through their back line.

Thats me chief! Almost lost count at one point, 9 goals are a lot to keep track of!

.....are these the golden U16s of last season, or are they still a year behind?

Yep a lot of them on show were the 1st years, last years u16s

Connolly, Bainbridge, Davies, Dowell, Walsh, Brewster.

They were a strong u16 group, no real standout candidates for me, certainly can't see many making the same impact as Kenny and Ledson.

Have you had a chance to look at Henen or Galloway yet?

Rumours we are looking at Gomez, thought he looked good in the Euro u17s with Ledson/Kenny.

.....interesting, I thought they might be a golden generation but I suppose if those 2 come through it really is an achievement.
