We looked tired. Really shaky at the back.

Early days tho and with fitness and sharpness we'll get better. Much better!

Think Besic should have been on for Barry towards the hour mark our midfield just died and they really got at our back four because of it.

Lukaku looked rusty up front but he'll come good as we know.

Away from home, promoted side and our first game. All in all a fair result and not the end of the world.

Sto

Stones was not that bad. Do not forget he is a kid and mistakes will happen a few times this season. Distin and Jags made Stones look world class today.

Pienaar and Naismith didn't touch the ball or do anything defensively in the 2nd half. It was probably along with McGeady we where put under so much pressure.

Hoof ball and we could not cope with it - our centre half's fail to win headers or cope with knock downs Distan gave the first away in appalling style - we looked better v Norwich last season in that 2-2 without the signings on deadline day!

We where unlucky in that game.

Today we where lucky to get a point. The frustrating thing was that it was all our own doing. Not having them ready for the start of the season is just criminal.

Behave lad, if you thought we were lucky today your as clueless as most think

Lot of positives in first half, especially Pienaar and Baines looking back to their best with Naismith & McGeady doing well.

We ran out of energy in the second half and let them back into it with our subs too late.

Ah well, could have been worse but we'll have to get our fitness levels back up and sort out the shakiness at the back.

They should already be up.

How can anyone happy with losing two points to a pub team? We just throw this away thanks to some sloppy defending.

Distin is back to his old-self Dustbin. Please for fcuk sake stop giving him the ball he can't pass! And he is extremely sloppy today. Jagielka is really struggling with their hoof ball, he just let the ball bounce time after time. Stones is just not a RB. Why the hell he chooses to make dangerous pass in our own half? Why don't he just clear the ball? McGeady takes his goal well yes but he rarely involve and should have been subbed much earlier. He tries too hard to beat their men. Naismith needs to stop his first time passing, it never works. I think Martinez should make the subs much earlier on, we lose our ideas on how to attack in the second half.

Very frustrating.

Sounds like a typical Everton performance combined with this preseason second half performances. Top job!

Badly Moyes that...let's just hope it can be made into a not too bad result by beating Arsenal

Ha ha, yeah that second half was Moyes wasn't it.

Played well first half, but what happened in the second? An attempt to keep a one goal lead? That was silly and we were actually lucky in a few ways.

Hopefully next game Coleman will start, and maybe we'll see Atsu as well.

The poor pre-season has showed us up there. We looked sluggish and off the pace particularly Lukaku, crying out for another forward. Why no Besic?

barry should have been off around like 70 mins, clearly wasn't fit enough to keep playing, likewise with some others too. Scared by how fragile our defence looks at times, need to get stones out of rb asap

No Coleman,Kev,Barkley and a half fit Lukaku cost us to day

Add the whole side looking goosed after 50 mins
