Look at it like this. We will take 4 pts from Leicester this season.

Looking back we were bricking it about playing a team that was freshly promoted and full of confidence anyway. So away from home we did alright. Most of us lets be honest would have taken a point at kick off.

It was the lack of a fully fit team that cost us today. (TBH a change should have been made earlier than pienaar, and pienaar shouldn't have been taken off).

Let's be honest here, next 2 weeks are gonna be a lot worse than today.

edit: when I say worse I don't necessarily mean results wise. The next two weeks are massive, 2 big fixtures in a row like that is a lot of pressure early on. Thank [Poor language removed] they're at Goodison

Dont believe they were much good so why did we just switch off...................also,is it too late to get our 28mil back off chelski

Set phasers to fume. Seen that second half too much during pre-season, always looked like we're going to ship a few goals. Stones definitely shouldn't be playing RB, Coleman can't be fit soon enough and Lukaku is back in his Christmas form.

Could have been worse mind and there was some decent football in the first half and we'll smash them at Goodison

Howard - 4
Stones - 2
Jags - 1
Distin - 1
Baines - 7
Barry - 2
McCarthy - 2
McGeedy - 5 (saved by goal)
Naismith - 5 (saved by goal)
Pienaar - 4
Lukaku - 2

Martinez - 0
bit harsh, would go more like:

Howard - 5
Stones - 4
Jags - 3
Distin - 3
Baines - 7
Barry - 4
McCarthy - 4
McGeedy - 7 (saved by goal)
Naismith - 6.5 (saved by goal)
Pienaar - 7
Lukaku - 4.5

Martinez - -0 Just absolutely awful

I can't believe we tried to play out the game. That is not a usual Martinez trait. If we showed more intent then we could have had a few more easily. Our defence looks awful and vunerable and we didn't threaten there goal until they scored and that is what made me disappointed. On a side note we still don't look anywhere near fit.

Load of ****

Pluses Baines/Pienaar especially first half were excellent, um.. Naismith was good and kept going to the end... that's about it for me.
Negs... Everything else, players tired and clueless and a lack of subs till so late doesn't make sense.

Both our conceded goals were unfortunate deflecting off players. I am not too worried just a big shame really. Hopefully when we get back to Goodison we can get our season off to full speed.

My biggest fear is moyes fpr all his faults made us defensively sound, I just hope Martinez's pee poor defending record hasn't rubbed off on the lads at the back

We need proper cover for Seamus, stones not good enough. Can Besic play right back?
