Impossible to judge whilst its still open. This time last year for example you would have a huge difference in the vote compared to little under a months time when it was closed.

Signing the loans we had (bar 1) and other squad members signing new contracts hasnt theoretically improved us. We need more numbers.

Signing Lukaku was best for business though.

We should get two loans in. I'm confident of that.

After the pre-season though I think it's clear we need a deputy worthy of the name for Lukaku + a playmaker type + a Deulofeu/Atsu winger + a competent RB to stand in for Coleman.

All our best players secured, far more important than getting some rag in on loan to sit on the bench or get injured. Besic looks like a genuinely terrific acquisition and then theres Rom. Best transfer window in a long time. Another 15m forward and it would be A+.

It's importantly to keep stability, but effectively we have the same team but Besic for Deulofeu. Signing Lukaku is hugely important, but for £28m, pehaps a tad too high, but again, Besic was a steal. No loans in as of yet, and i'd expect a few more to come in.

Our side is looking a lot more dense, with Kone, Gibson and McGeady all in from not being available from around about this time last year, so we'll see how it goes.

B+ at the moment, lets see how the loans are.

Current grade I'll go for a B. Way better than we normal. If we manage to get to the deadline without losing any key players I'll bump to a B+. If we manage that and sign a couple of useful additions well we'll have been right little transfer swots.
