How long it takes to orbit around it's sun/star is usually how it's determined, and I don't even think that is so hard tbf.Cannot even begin to comprehend how they possibly calculated the length of a day of a "new" planet/star that is 64 light years away.
This is a boss thread, so glad I stumbled upon it
Anyone ITK enough to recommend a scope for my grandson who loves this subject. ( he is 5).
Think that's the year mate....How long it takes to orbit around it's sun/star is usually how it's determined, and I don't even think that is so hard tbf.
There's a lot of big-ass equations involved though.
That is true, misread that I think... idk.Think that's the year mate....

Mars ain't the kind of place to raise your kids. In fact it's cold as he'll.

What will Mars do?![]()
After watching Gravity I've decided space sucks balls.
I know the ending was cheesy as hell but it wasn't that bad a film.
Thought the film was really good...save the ending. What I meant is that space seems like a shyte place to be if you are human. Seems like it might be safer to dodge cars on a busy motorway.
