It was glorious! As the goals were raining down against Brazil in the semi I phoned me Mam and Oma (I'm German on that side, English on me Dad's side)...we were just laughing incontrollably at the insaneness of it all.

The final was tense as fook, but ye gods we came through. Schweinsteiger...what a man!

So many amazing football moments for us, I could go on for ever. But suffice to say it was ÜberAce.


And I genuinely see parallels with Everton. Our own players are publicly talking of their hunger to win, to restore Everton's rightful place at the top. We may have to suffer a few near misses like Germany did, but we've got the best attitude I've seen since I've been a blue (25 years now).

he looks very consistent winger but that probably because he doesn't dribble past players easily and therefore risk less mistakes instead plaining decent early cross ala beckham. His final ball is actually better than most it seems from what I gathered from the not so reliable youtube window
