just come back from me holliday and seen the news! i've always supported our blue chairman but the January window got me a little iffy, so I gave the board until the end of the summer window, but looks like they've already delivered! wow.

Time to give Bill Kenwright a break, lads

hi @davek :bye:

The clear negative was announcing a press conference time without having paperwork sorted, keeping fans and the national media waiting 2 hours for no good reason. Totally unnecessary, avoidable and cretinous....like your tedious one eyed agenda that anyone is going to be unhappy with the board finally releasing money for expenditure on players after 14 years.
You're fuming aren't you mate....

The lad signed just after lunch, the presser was called for 7, knowing it was done and just awaiting the paperwork from the PL. It was delayed........big deal.

We've just smashed our transfer record and bought one of Europe's most prolific young strikers, and all you can think to do is call the club for keeping some hacks waiting at Finch Farm, due to a paperwork delay.

Speaks volumes..........

That's all you seem to think I can think to do. One post you seem strangely fixated with. You need to lighten up and enjoy the purchase mate.

Oh ffs do you get any joy from Everton?

On a day we've just smashed the club transfer fee and went out a signal to the rest of the league that we mean business you're actually moaning about a delayed press conference?

Get a f'ing girl man, that's just pathetic moaning.

I'm happy to see money from past sales and the new TV deal being put to good use. I never imagined I'd see the club spend such an amount on one player.

If the rest of the window passes without a significant outgoing I'll be very pleasantly surprised.

As long as we don't sell a couple of players before the deadline you have to give the board some credit for this summer. Better than we all expected/hoped for.

The TV money is getting spent then? Happy so far with the backing our manager has received this summer.

Allow me some scepticism but if I still feel that way on 2nd September then we all good for this year.

A good news today. Let's have some more of them.

Totally agreed, lots of upset people on here that Bill has spent some money for some reason.
