Drogba going back to Chelsea os coach. Can't see Rom passing up the chance to be coached by him, tbh.

Reports are suggesting it's a 1 yr playing deal followed by an option to become coach. At worst it will be player/coach deal (which I don't believe really works) certainly won't just be a coaching contract.

And would lukaku really be "THAT" assed about being coached by drogba? I don't think so tbh. They don't even play the same tbh, it's a myth!

If Jose wanted lukaku, he would of kept him last year when his options were poor. He didn't keep him, infact he pushed to get him out the door.

Costa, Torres, Drogba...Could easily see that as Jose's three. Personally myself would ship out Torres and bring in cavani.

I wonder what the hold up is, I assume we are still waiting on Lukaku to make his mind up because surely we already have a deal with Chelsea agreed.

Even with all the pissing about we do we can't be that bad.

Jose never signed lukaku and has never spoke that highly of him tbh. As shown with mata, if your face doesn't fit with him then he's got no problem letting u go. Especially now FFP is running and leaving a valuable asset doing nothing is not really an option.

Costa, Torres, Drogba and shurlle who can play up top. There's also the small fact that a certain Edison Cavani could well be available.

Still quietly confident on Rom. Just hope he actually wants to come back!!

I don't quite understand the situation with Torres. Does Jose rate him or does Abramovich just force every manager to try and turn the £50m flop into a good player?

Either way, if they sign another striker, Rom is gone. Let's hope they do!

One thing is clear in all this -- Lukaku doesn't particularly want to come to us. In which case, let's switch our interest to Bony straightaway.

Eurosport Spain sources have revealed that the two clubs have spent several days in London talking about his possible return.

Chelsea are looking for a transfer fee of £13m for the player they signed from Liverpool for £50m four years ago, but Atletico are trying to get that fee reduced.

Atletico's chief executive Miguel Ángel Gil Marín has spent the weekend in London discussing the transfer and will return to Madrid on Monday where he will continue negotiating the deal.

Chelsea are believed to want Atletico Madrid centre-back Joao Miranda and are trying to negotiate a price for him within the Torres discussions.

dont think thats true, he is keen to join us and if we were in the champions league he'd be at everton already. players with that attitude piss me off though, maybe if he'd buried a few more chances or not gone missing for a lot of games we'd be in there.

That will signal the end of our chances if that comes off.

I highly doubt Atletico Madrid would be willing to match Torres' wages unless he reduces his demands.
The fact that Chelsea are even negotiating his sale though is damning evidence enough that they won't be selling Lukaku surely?

Hopes are fading fast.

Possibly. But nobody knows that for sure unless you spoke to him.

To add to this...Even if he does end up being here after several other options fall through...He is a professional and will give his all for this club, its who he is and what he does...
