ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC"

My point is that you can't just say that if Suarez wasn't playing then his goals wouldn't be compensated for by other goals. The stats probably just take out the goals and leave it at that.

I can say that because they majority of goals that Suarez was involved it would require a player of Suarez's ability to be reproduced; something Liverpool would not have.

I mean, I hate Arsenal too like, but at least if he goes there we might actually win a Derby for once!

I honestly don't know when we'll win another one at this point. We always play the occasion. Until we sort that, I just can't see us beating them. The RAWKites will love that, but it's just how I feel. I think we've been good enough to beat them the past 4-5 times we've played them, but we just haven't been able to get over the hump

Them selling Suarez, thus removing their x-factor, gives us a better chance than we've had in years but if they then go and sign Sanchez, in conjuction with the other players they're looking at, it puts us right back where we started.

I just want us to go out there and play our game the best way we can and beat them

I dont care how many times they beat us. They have an awful past and I'd feel very uneasy supporting them. I dont see what they get out of it. Football is forever tainted for them.

It isn't our fault that we don't beat them there; it's their fault. I know that sounds weird, but the entire RS XI (Gerrard especially) decide to really try. We play our normal game and it just isn't enough to beat them there, not because we aren't good enough, but because they always want it more (probably out of fear of the crap they'll get from their own fans if they lose, tbh).

But yes, once Suarez is off, things looks a lot better. I can't see Sanchez having the same impact as the rat, at least not instantly. That's assuming he even goes there.

Just going to be delighted to see the back of the racist biting thunder [Poor language removed], wonder if the Liverpool fans will still worship him when he's gone or whether they'll call him out on it.
I've a funny feeling the 'THE KOP' will be displaying a faux sporting banner 'thanks Luis' or some such which will have tits that buy into this cobblers, like Jonathan Pearce, weeping over their (ahem) sportsmanship and knowledgeability

As soon as he speaks of his 'love' for Barca they'll issue a fatwa

I hope (and expect) he says words to the effect that he's 'left behind a great club (blah blah blah), but when a club like Barcelona come along you simply cant say no; because they are more than a club, they are an institution'.

They'll be reaching for the paving slabs with that.

Its 78m Euros with a cut going to Ajax (Think I seen it at 3-4m)

So it is 63m but they will end up with the figure you quoted

What we see happening now is the Kopites in the media trying to make the figure as good as they can, They will print it in Euros or tell you there's add ons etc etc

The fact is Suarez has driven down his price and forced a move, He's took a dump on a team that has stuck by him through all of his bull when in reality he has been indefensible, They have dragged themselves through the mud and shown the world what a much of utter beauts they are all in the name of keeping there prized asset happy in fear that he will drop them and leave them stranded with an average side and an ageing captain who has become a liability

Well done Luis for showing the country what we always knew about them

To be fair to Suaraz, they done one on him last season with the get out clause which was never really in the contract.

We should step up to meet them though really

They are just as jazzed for a game at Goodison

Everyone talking about how we are losing a world class player and not signing a world class player in return, everyone's forgetting that we made Suarez and more particularly Brendan made Suarez.

lol

I think there was a release clause

Its the fact only Arsenal cam after him that he didn't really force it through

Why give him a new contract with a release clause?

I reckon Sturridge will get found out a bit next year. Without Suarez running round dragging players everywhere generally being a menace he won't have as much time to fashion chances for himself like he loves to do. He proved in the WC he isn't world class. He'll still score about 10 but he won't get as many imo.

Yes mate there had to Be a reason Mourinho didn't rate him.

Suarez did try to force it, and found that the release clause was not there, the clause was that they would allow him to talk to clubs if a bid of 40 came in, not they would have to sell him. Its was a con of a clause, the new contract was to please Suarez who was fuming with the club for the con.

I think Lambert and Sturridge will be a good front two to be honest

Obv not as good as Suarez but they will score a lot imo
