I understand your point with Lukakus first touch but the thing is it's not always terrible. Sometimes yeah but you make out like we play the ball to him and the move instantly breaks down and that's simply not true. He has plenty of time, ability and desire to improve his game.
The only reason you are even talking about lukaku so negatively is because of the price tag associated with him. We should be able to afford that price tag after the amount of players we have sold in the last few seasons. It's ridiculous that it looks like it'll be lukaku and frees and loans. We should have the money to "risk" 20million on lukaku and bring in other player as well. You've got to ask the question, what exactly is our chairman contributing to the club? Financially he doesn't put in a penny. It's not good enough and is the reason we are stuck in this mindset as fans, being concerned whether we can afford a player who would undoubtedly improve us for future years.
Rodwell, Fellaini. £39million. That's two of god knows how many players we've let go in the last 3 or 4 years. Factor in the new tv money and we shouldn't even be having this conversation.
