Suarez's Punishment

ESPN were going crazy over it an hour ago. Replay after replay from all angles. Numerous people were commenting on it.

The next 24 hours should be interesting. I've already heard the rumours that Fifa are investigating the incident. A decision will most likely be made after the world cup on any sort of ban. However, if this incident is in the ref's match report, which it will be, then surely they will suspend him from playing any further in the competition.

Yeah I know. It was just one bulletin on 5 Live that missed it off. Probably written before it happened to be fair. Getting pelters since.

However, if this incident is in the ref's match report, which it will be,

I don't think it will be in the Refs match report as he never blew for anything. No yellow was issued.

It looks like retrospective action only in this case.

He should be taken out back like Old Yeller and put down. He's clearly rabid. But he'll get a weenie ban and maybe FA can enforce this:

...J Henry might not have the same view, dragging the name of his product through the proverbial again might be a step too far, even for him.

Funnily enough, I've just said this to one of my kopite mates. He's my boss, so I had to be diplomatic... "He is single handedly making LFC the most hated club in the country though. You can wave goodbye to all those wools and southerners that Shankly, Paisley, Fagan and Kenny brought in, in future years. Is it a price worth paying, to have such a good player?"
