This is a question I guess for the @GrandOldTeam staff, but is there any chance of an iPhone app? Am sure the costs would be quite high, but even if it was a GBP1.49 download, i'd still be interested.

Anything in the pipeline?

Come up a few times mate this.

Think it's a cost problem and what really would it do that you can't do just on your browser?

You can make the GOT logo on your phone. Looks good too. Like a shortcut to the site.

People like Tapatalk pinch this market space for forums. As above cost implications unfortunately. Since the new site it appears better on the phone than before.

I think the costs were just too prohibitive when it was looked at in the past. It costs something stupid like 5 grand to apply an update on itunes

Not quite that much but does cost a few quid. The development tools alone are around 80 quid per year then addons

Open in Safari and then add it as a bookmark to appear on homescreen. The icon appears automtocally

I'll try and remember.

- go to the site on your phone.
- press the box with the up arrow on it at the bottom of the browser screen
- then add to home screen.
