BEST GOAL SEEN AT GOODISON?

Most already mentioned. How about Sheedy's twice taken free kick?

If we are also bringing up opposition goals then how about Tony Morely's for Villa which was goal of the season? I remember it being one of the most moody days outside the ground that day too, up and down the Bullens Road.

I was thinking of putting that on my list of best goals conceded along with Drogba's in the 3-2 game

Some of you older guys might remember Viv Anderson scoring a screamer for Forest in a league cup game 78-79

far to many to think of, sheedy scored a chip v leicester in a 5,1 win that was special , think the whole ground burst out laughing when he did it

Osman v Sunderland in the 7-1 game.
But then again Beckford v Chelsea
thought about that before may of been look but what a finish
that was especially against Chelsea, one of my fav goals ive seen @ gp that ive been too defo.

Barry Horne, definitely for me. 2-1 down and on our way to be relegated, and when he hit it we all thought " why Barry?? " then it went mental, I ended up 3 rows in front of my seat. Absolutely crazy, and then I knew we would do it.
It was the importance as well as the stunner of a goal with relegation staring us in the face!

...Clyde Best scored a great goal for West Ham a long, long time ago. Mists of time have dimmed the memory, but I recall him getting the ball by the dug out, running down the touch line towards Gwladys St, cutting inside beating 3 or 4 players before unleashing a finish into the roof of the net. Probably dreamt half of it and it was a tap in, but hey ho.
I was at that match. Not only did he run from the halfway line towards the Gwladys st who were hurling every obscenity and monkey chant noise that you can imagine in them days. He scored a superb goal and the ground fell silent until a well deserved round of applause rang around Goodison. Even from the Gwladys Street.

Too many to choose from really. But for sheer emotion/relief, Andy King's goal was our first Derby win for 6 years, no wonder he became 'Andy is our King'. But there again, the importance of Horne's screamer that happened just when we needed it, 'who needs Cantona, when we got Barry Horne'.

For excitement and RMTO factor arteta equaliser against the violets!

Best team goal osman against Larissa explains it all ;)

Most recent RMTO Barkley against city

(RMTO = rushing my t!ts off)

Had this a while back. My all time favourite, Sharpeys against Spurs at the Park End, 1982ish. What a volley, crowd was buzzing about it

Very good shout that mate. I was there in the upper Bullens as a kid. I remember he caught it sweet on the right side edge of the box and it just fizzed into the roof of the net. I also remember a similar type of Sharp volley against Sheff Wed in the late 80's when we had that mammoth FA Tie that went to about 3 replays.
