they get 65mill or something for going down next season.add that on to the money they get for lallana and co and the owner can sell the club for a pound and disappear to the carribean or somewhere.

their is a slight irony with the jokes including me, as he'll be their 3rd or 4th choice, wheras at everton he would walk into our first team.
 
John Aldridge is going to be furious about Lambert.

He was going on about how Champions League was going to bring them "world class" players and the money they were getting. They're getting Lambert.

I forgot Aldridge was also the one who claimed Andy Carroll was better than Duncan Ferguson. On tv.


They get whats coming to them in the end. They always do people like him.

They must have been saving up all their coppers because theyre so poor. They only had 50 million to spend last summer! Cant wait for Moreno to come in and before even kicking a ball automatically be better than Baines. Will he push Flanalahm out the team? But Cafu has been saying he's the best full back (despite never actually saying it). Cant believe they had such defensive problems last year with 'world class' full backs on either side. They should take a look across the park for THE standard for premier league full backs. Ourback up left back is better than their starting pair.
 

....Lambert deal is being quoted as £9m on telly. Rodgers clearly sees a fantastic partnership with Suarez. One gets the pens whilst the other scores them. 20 goals a season guaranteed!!

He'll get a few goals for them - and he is decent - but FFS your heads in your hands if you're a Kopite when he's first signing out of the box. A 32 year old enjoying an Indian Summer at a no mark club with zero expectations.

I get the feeling Liverpool are going to overplay this "we have CL football to offer" hand, chance their arm with bids under the valuation of targeted players, and miss out on them. And if you're FSG you'd also be saying to Brent straight away: 'get rid of the tat you brought in last summer and use that cash before you come to us for substantial backing'. They must have zero faith in his record so far. I honestly dont think the feller knows what he's doing in the transfer market.
